Filing Opens for March 2026 Civil Service Exam Nationwide

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the filing period for the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for both Professional and Sub-Professional levels. The exam will be conducted simultaneously nationwide on March 8, 2026 across multiple testing centers.

1.How to File via CSC eServe Portal

  1. Visit the CSC eServe Portal: https://services.csc.gov.ph/
  2. Sign-Up or Log In: Create a new account or sign in if you already have one. Make sure to check your email after signing up(register) for confirmation and instructions.
  3. Upon logging in, select the Service: Choose 'Civil Service Examination Application' from the list.
  4. Choose Your Region and Office: Select your CSC Regional and Field Office.
  5. Schedule Your Appointment: Pick a date and time slot, then confirm your appointment.
  6. Download the Application Form: Save or print the form provided after confirmation.
  7. Prepare Requirements:
    • Printed application form
    • Valid ID (original + photocopy)
    • Four passport-sized photos (with nametag, taken within last 3 months)
  8. Appear on the Scheduled Date: Go to your chosen CSC office to submit requirements and pay the filing fee.
⚠️ Important: Always check your email after signing up to confirm your account and appointment details. No appointment, no processing. Walk-ins are not allowed.

2.How to File via OCSEAS

  1. Create an Account: If you do not have an existing account, create a new account at https://ocseas.csc.gov.ph. Applicants should create only ONE account and use an active email address. If you already have an account, log in and skip Steps 2-4.
  2. Email Confirmation: Check your email for a confirmation/activation message.
  3. Activate Your Account: Click the link in the confirmation email to activate your account.
  4. Log In: After activation, return to https://ocseas.csc.gov.ph and log in with your credentials.
  5. Update Profile: If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to edit/update your profile. Ensure all information is correct and click “Update Profile.” Please note that profile updates can only be made once.
  6. Select Exam and Center: On your dashboard, view all available slots for testing centers. Click the “PROCEED” button next to your chosen exam level and testing center.
  7. Complete CS Form No. 100: Enter the required details in the online CS Form No. 100.
  8. Choose Appointment: Select your preferred Field Office or Regional Office, and choose a date for your personal appearance.
  9. Submit Application: Click “SUBMIT APPLICATION.”
  10. Check Application Status: Click the “TRANSACTION TAB” on the left panel to check your application status, which should read “ON APPOINTMENT,” indicating successful submission and scheduling of your personal appearance.
  11. Attend Your Appointment: Be present at your chosen Field Office or Regional Office on your scheduled date. Failure to appear will result in the cancellation of your slot.
  12. Wait for Your Notice of School Assignment (NOSA): Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive your NOSA, which will provide further instructions regarding your exam.

Important: If your region is not listed in OCSEAS, check the official Facebook page of your CSC Regional Office for their booking link or procedure.

Requirements for Filing

  • Duly accomplished CS Form No. 100 (Revised 2023)
  • Four (4) passport-size ID photos with name tag and signature
  • Valid government-issued ID (original + photocopy)
  • Examination fee: ₱500 (paid upon personal appearance)
  • Additional documents if necessary (e.g., PSA Birth Certificate for discrepancies)

Who May Apply

  • Filipino citizen, at least 18 years old
  • Good moral character
  • No final conviction of crimes involving moral turpitude
  • Not dishonorably discharged from military or government service
  • Not taken the same level of CSE within the last 3 months
