A
candidate must possess the required eligibility criteria to take the UPSC EPFO
exam. Eligibility Criteria require a lot of factors such as Age, Educational

Educational Qualification
There
will be different requirements for educational qualification in EO/ AO and APFC

the EO/ AO posts, a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
from a recognized university or institute.
Note:
As per the notification, the Qualifications are relaxable for the candidates at
the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be
recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
- For
the APFC posts, a candidate must hold a degree from a recognized
University or its Equivalent.
- Desirable: Diploma
in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration.
Nationality
A
candidate must be of any of the categories mentioned below.

A citizen
of India.
2. Or, a subject of Nepal.
3.
Or, a
subject of Bhutan.
4. Or, a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before
January 01, 1962, to permanently settle in India.
5. Or, a person of Indian origin who has migrated from
Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the
United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi,
Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India. Provided
that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) above shall be
a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the
Government of India.
Experience
It is
positive for the candidates who hold a reasonable involvement with the
significant field. This expands their shot at being shortlisted. Applicants
bearing at least two years of experience in Accounts, Administration, and Legal
Matters are preferred.
UPSC EPFO Exam Application
The
official date for the online application procedure is February 2024. Candidates
had the chance to apply till March 2024. Candidates have to wait for the
release of the admit card as the exam date is May 2024 as mentioned by the
UPSC.

The
application fee for the general category candidate is Rs. 25. However, for the
women candidates, SC, ST, and Physically disabled candidates the fees are

UPSC EPFO 2024 Exam Pattern
The
official notification for the UPSC EPFO 2024 Examination was published before
by the Union Public Service Commission. In this official notice, the UPSC has
mentioned the exam pattern for this exam. The recruitment process consists of
two stages: Offline MCQ Exam and Personal interview. The final selection is
based on the total marks obtained in both the written exam and personal
interview.
The
detailed UPSC EPFO 2024 Exam pattern is discussed as follows:
- All
the questions in this paper will be objective-type questions and they are
multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
- The
offline test (MCQ) paper consists of a total of 120 questions and each
question will carry equal values.
- All
the candidates will have 2 hours or 120 minutes to solve the entire paper.

UPSC offers an attractive package for the employees selected through the EPFO
