RECRUITMENT 2024
SSC JE Notification 2024 has been issued by the Staff
Selection Commission on 02nd November 2023 for the Junior Engineer (Civil,
Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024. Staff Selection Commission will
hold an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior
Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) for Organizations/Offices of the
Government of India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the SSC
JE recruitment 2024 from 29th February to 29th March 2024 by
visiting the official website of the SSC.

Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from
Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United
Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire,
Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India

SSC JE APPLICATION PROCESS
To complete the application process for the SSC JE
recruitment 2024, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1.
Visit the official website of the Staff
Selection Commission (SSC).
2. Click
on the “Apply Online” link. This will lead you to the application
portal.
3. Register
yourself with the required details. Provide accurate information such as name,
email address, mobile number, and other necessary particulars. Double-check the
details before submitting to ensure accuracy.
4. After
successful registration, check your registered email address. The commission
will send important details related to your application, such as your
registration ID and password, to this email.
5. Log
in to the official portal using your registered ID or password. This will grant
you access to the application form.
6. Carefully
fill in your details in the application form. Provide all the necessary
information accurately, including personal details, educational qualifications,
and any other specifics required.
7.
Upload the required documents in the
specified format and sizes. Commonly requested documents include passport-sized
photographs, signatures, and relevant certificates. Make sure the documents
meet the specified criteria to avoid rejection.
8. Proceed
to pay the application fee through Net banking.
9. Review
your application before final submission. Verify all the details you have
entered, and ensure that the uploaded documents are clear and legible.
10. Submit
your application. Once you have reviewed all the information, click on the
“Submit” or “Finalize” button to complete the application
process.
11. Take
a printout of your application confirmation.

SSC JE ADMIT CARD OR
HALL TICKET
The commission will upload the SSC JE Admit Card on its
official website, typically around 10 to 15 days before the exam. To download
your Admit Card, follow these simple steps:
1.
Visit the official website of the Staff
Selection Commission (SSC).
2. Look
for the “Exam Admit Card” section. You may find this section under
the “Notifications” or “Examinations” tab on the website’s
homepage.
3. Click
on the “Exam Admit Card” link. This will redirect you to the page
where you can download your admit card.
4. Enter
your registration details. Provide your registration ID and Password in the
designated fields. These details were generated during your application process
and sent to your registered email.
5. Your
SSC JE Admit Card will appear on the screen. Verify all the information on the
admit card, including your name, photograph, examination date, time, and venue.
6. Click
on the “Download” or “Print” button to save the admit card
to your device. Take a printout of the Admit Card.
(Note:
Admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination
in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo,
registration details, name of your center, date of your examination and
reporting time of your examination are mentioned).

Examination consists of 2 papers to be conducted by
SSC.

1.
Paper 1 is to be conducted in online mode
i.e. objective-type questions will be asked.
2. The
examination will be conducted both in Hindi and English.
3. 1
mark to be rewarded for every right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for
every wrong answer.

The Syllabus for General Intelligence would
include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include
questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization,
problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory,
discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning,
verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc. The test
will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to
deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical
computations and other analytical functions. |
General Awareness |
Questions will be aimed at testing the
candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/her and its
application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of
current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in
their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test
will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries
especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General
Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they
