Skill Test (DEST), on a computer candidates must type 2000 words in 15 minutes in English. The purpose of this test is to evaluate a candidate’s typing abilities. Candidates are required to type an English article on a computer.
The DEST Exam, which is administered for the SSC CGL 2024 exam, is used to evaluate applicants for the position of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax).

Important Notes-
v Tier I consists of Objective Type and Multiple Choice questions.
Except for the English Comprehension paper, the questions will be presented in both Hindi and English for all papers.
v The test will be conducted online mode.
v Negative checking for Tier 1 is 0.50.
v 60 min or 1 hour is the exam duration for the Tier 1 SSC CGL Exam.
v The disabled applicants will get an extra time of 20 minutes.

Important Notes-
v Papers I, II, and III will be administered in distinct shifts or days

v Only applicants selected in Tier-I, i.e., for Assistant Audit

qualifying in nature.

SSC CGL Tier 2
Result 2024 will be out after the exams. Only the overall performance of
candidates in the Tier-II Examination will be used to create the merit list.
